My husband, who is not into horses in any particular way, said, "Wow," when he saw that picture of da Pook.
He also started reading KINGDOM OF THE GRAIL and about a hundred pages into it said to me, "...do we have the first of her Luna books? Because this is *really good*." :)
Ember (Arabian mare) and Twix (her daughter by Pooka) are mine, and live mere feet from me near Riverside California. Pook's shots were all at DHF, as were the shots on Judy's website of her fabulous beasties. Twix strongly takes after her Lipizzan side. Ember has about 1000 miles of distance competition but she enjoys being a mom more than anything else. My LJ has been about Twix's upbringing but now I feel like sharing more than just her photos there.
That makes significantly more sense. I was also confusing Twix with Tia -- which i realized after the fact was wrong. Also the Twix pics up on Judy's site has twix pix (i ryhmed) which added to the confusion
