I usually resist the word memes, but this is cool. And everybody's doing it. Baa.

Go to Wikipedia, enter in your birthdate (sans year), post three events, two births and one death.

Someone is very nice and takes good care of me. Clearly.

Btw I read today that a sergeant from Davis Monthan was implanted with the new artificial spinal discs--have you heard about those? Is it your back that let you down? Because if they're VA-ing Air Force guys with this, Navy guys might get a crack at it as well. I think Tucson is one of the places where they're experimenting with the technique. Reference here. Yeah, I'm not a super huge proponent of having my back and nervous system operated on. My problems are in the lower back L3-S1...and I like having the ability to walk and feel my legs---despite the pain.

No, but I have faith that as I continue my conquest of the world, someone will add me in. :)

Ooooh, Tallis! Multiple-part canons and words that match the lines of music they go with! I had a story wherein the AI reconstruction of Thomas Tallis lived in the main character's head. It was hard to write.

I'll bet. I love Tallis, but he's not your basic melodymeister.

Greetings

I didnt find myself under the birth sections, but it did occur to me as i was searching for my birthday on Wikipedia that it was time i said hello. I've been following your LJ for a while now and couldnt figure out how best to say hello without sounding like a crazy stalker-type. But this seems like a good a time as the present. I love the bravery you have for sharing your personal world with an outside audience, and from an outside perspective, it's great to know that a person's favorite author actually has a life away from their keyboard and computers.

SO...this is me saying hello.

Have a fantastic day.
