...considering I gave up on Trek halfway through Voyager.

Trekkie Nerd
Congratulations! You scored 81%!
Congratulations - your designation as a Trekkie Nerd means that you are statistically more likely to be a virgin, socially inept, live at home in your mother's basement and have no chance of scoring a chick like Seven. Still, if knowledge of temporal paradoxes, the repercussions of the Janeway effect and an intimate knowledge of Klingon history made big bucks, you'd be a millionaire. Ah, tis the sweet irony of life.

My test tracked 1 variable How you compared to other people your age and gender:

You scored higher than 99% on Trekkies

Only 70% here. Of course, I think I've only ever seen one or two episodes of Voyager and DS9, and while I can usually remember what letter some of the made-up names of races, planets, etc., start with, I am almost never able to remember the whole word.

I guess that also makes me one of the reasons writers are sometimes warned not to have two important characters whose names start with the same letter within a single book.

so?

how go the revisions? I am hoping your absence in these parts the last few days indicates that they are going really well!

I'm only an appreciator [31%] -- mostly 'cause I never remember names and lose track of plotlines over the years. They did, after all, all seem the same after awhile. ;)

Yeah...I couldn't get through voyager either...despite the best trying of everyone else in my house. :)

My goodness. I only got a 60%. That was unexpected.

Well, I'm an appreicator--scored 65%, which I'll take, because I got Sisko--squee . . . .:)

BTW, I just spent the last two days listening to Roland's song in Kingdom of the Grail (first of your books I've read) . . . and I must say, you have a new fan. I truly appreciated your take on and continuation of the Grail legend, and your use of religion and midieval geo politics.

One question arose for me. What is the difference between an Arabian, Berber and Spanish horse? And would the Moors of the period have had the Berber or the Spanish horses? Or would the Berber horses have primarily been in North Africa? *cringes* didn't mean to ask so many questions, just arose from a story I'm working on which takes place in Mali during the same period.

Thanks, Betty.

BTW, I've been lurking on your journal for several weeks, hope you don't mind, but I love reading about the horse training and your writing process. *blushes from all the gushing*.

Scored 90%. I don't know what questions I missed. Humph. Must be giving up on VOYAGER.

You know, if we scored better than 99% of our age cohort, we have a wussy age cohort? Ditto, the quiz about booze.
