Thanks for posting the link. :) Since the Equestrian events are only shown on Bravo here and my family doesn't have cable, I'm real thirsty for news about what's going on. And this guy's take on it sure is interesting!
Great! Will look at it later. I have added it to my favorites. My Tivo proved its worth. I saw all three days of eventing and the day of individual jumping.
Some really prettyhorses there, but I kept saying a Lipp could do better.... well, perhpas not at the jumping, but the eventing jumps were kinda low.
I "friended" (friend as a verb is odd, don't you think?) you a few weeks ago, hope you don't mind, but we met back in the days of Bluejay books when I was managing Locus. I'm thrilled to find your lj and your gorgeous horses. I've suffered from horse envy all my life. Never had any of my own but I did have several loaners over the years as well as horses I've worked with (or rather for). Lately though the horse lust has gotten more persistent. Possibly because they seem to be all around me. I went to see Cavalia, which is definitely worth the price of admission, then I found your journal, now I find out that my neighbor has Friesians and last night there was a woman in the Chinese restaurant eating chow mein and watching a Dutch Warmblood going through his paces on a camcorder. Not to mention the Olympics (that perfect ride the other day was done by Amy Tryon on Poggio II--they live nearby too.) and now I'm just nattering on. Anyway, thanks for the link and for sharing your life with the Lippizzans. Anon.
