ISLE OF GLASS is finally an ebook! With special thanks to our own [livejournal.com profile] idiomagic for the scanning and proofing.

Thanks! I like it, too. Dave Smeds designed it, using a public-domain image. I'm really happy with it.

Is this available on Amazon? I can't tell!

Not yet.

Book View Cafe pays its authors 95% (5% goes to site maintenance). I give them an exclusive for a while, then kindlenook the title.

Okay! I will wait then. :)

Thanks. :)

BVC has the Kindle format. That's the MOBI option. When the new bookstore goes live (it was supposed to today, but the server went down all weekend and made a big mess--new soft launch is scheduled for the 10th), it will be really easy to click and download.

If I remember I will buy it there... it's easier for me to manage the kindle stuff through Amazon, though, their archiving is handy. :)

Ha, I bought Wind in Cairo while waiting for this one, so that worked out. :)

Lovely! And that story has a special place for me since it was the first of your work that I read (and was hopelessly hooked). Kit Kerr had recommended Ars Magica but it wasn't available at the library, so I took this one - and now own it, the three-volume omnibus, and soon the ebook! Yay!

You know Ars Magica is an ebook too, right?

I'm glad you liked this trilogy. I'm still very fond of it. Am proofing volume III now, getting it ready to come out in July. II just came back from the second-pass proofer. It's like revisiting one's birthplace, going back to these books and getting them ready for production.

I can only imagine -- but is it that you would not write them the same way now, but you still like the way you wrote them then? I hope so! That's the way I feel about some of my earlier historian's writing...

Pretty much. Also it's been so long since I even looked at them that they're almost new again.

Ain't it purty? The other two have same design, different images and color palettes. They make a lovely triptych. :)
