On May 1st I'm bringing out the first ebook edition of The Isle of Glass. Talk about ancient history--it feels as if a completely different person wrote this (but she sure did write what I like to read).

Thanks to designer (and kickass writer himself, who has a BVC release of his own, and a new-member launch, on May 8th) Dave Smeds, we have...Cover!

Ain't she purty? Public-domain photo of stained glass from Notre Dame de Paris. History does cooperate.

I loved that series, and have dragged those books with me in moves halfway across the continent -- twice! Maybe it's time to have another read. :-)

Great news about the ebook, and what an excellent cover.

"Like!"

I have this series of yours. I have started it a couple times, and have only stopped because Life got in the way of my sitting down _un-interuptedly_ and enjoying it. Someday, right?

Perfect! I always wanted to use real stained glass photos on the books, but got shot down every time. I'm glad to see it.

Did you feed them to the geese?

If you want a hardcopy, I might have a paperback left. Hardcovers all gone but my personal copy.

Thank you. I'm very happy with it. Just got the draft of the HOUNDS cover--very similar; the GH one will be somewhat different so the designer is working out of order. It should make a pretty set.

Fabulous!!!

Sooo glad to hear that the trilogy is coming out on BVC!! It was the first work of yours that I read, even though Kit actually recommended Ars Magica (the library I went to didn't have the latter, but the first volume of The Isle of Glass was there - once into the first chapter, well and truly hooked!).

Awesome! I only have the trilogy in a single bound hardcover. Looking forward to the e-books.

Oh, the SFBC edition with the hideous cover. That was...an experience. These will be prettier, if virtual. ;>
