I'm trying to be a better online citizen and blog more. Really.

So, this week I did my horseblog over at Book View Cafe. There was a crash and it got eaten. I was able to get it back up, but lost the comments. Phoo. Still, it's here: a blog on bringing up a stallion.

And then we got off on a series of posts about Where Do You Get Your Ideas? Mine went up today. It's all

sartorias' fault. I blame her totally. Also, the Internet is made of cats. Srsly. The story I'm talking about attacked me a couple of weeks ago, and has not yet found a home. I'm pondering where to send it. I never just pop out a story like this, and always have an anthology to send it to, so this is not the usual experience for me. (I kind of like it.)

We are also plotting all sorts of things to update the Mentoring and Camp Lipizzan web pages--I'll be previewing some of them here, and there are a couple of things I'm excited about. You'll see. :)

In the process of working on this, I decided to put up an lj for my alter ego,

cait_brennan, whose horse book House of the Star is coming out in November (and already is getting some buzz, thanks to wonderful early readers). It's just got an intro post so far, but I'll use it to talk about writing (and horses, how not?) and magic and process and all those nice chewy things, how it all fits together. I have thoughts, I do. Who knew?
