You know what gets me the most? I used to always be riding worse than I thought. In these lessons I'm always riding 'waaaaayyyy better. Lots to quibble, of course, but wow. Lookit da PONY!

I'm stroking his neck with the whip to remind him to unlock the atlas and stop being a right banana. Bottom photo is what happened after he got the message.

He's in an eggubutt French snaffle. (Duh. Capria's in the loose ring.)

Very nice shot in the canter depart. I also like the self-carriage in that shot (and the slack reins, but that's the Western rider and the Baucherist in me).
