Date: 2009-08-26 11:27 pm (UTC)Last night, I was haltering JJ at the round bale feeder. Joy was a bit off to the left, also at the feeder. As I slid the halter over JJ's nose, Joy moved her face into JJ's space, the get-a-way ears on. Then Joy ever-so-clearly (and politely) removed the halter from JJ's nose.
Clearly I was capturing the Wrong Horse. When I explained that JJ needed to be given some time so that she could learn to be a riding horse for Mom, THEN, and ONLY then, did Joy say it was ok for me to catch her....
