Illustrating the Lesson
May. 28th, 2009 04:59 pmThank you all so, so much for the words of support. They are much appreciated. I'm kind of Flat-Stanleyed still (but getting work done, and hay came in a day early so had to tarp that, and gave horses extra lunch, and...).
Photo from S. It's almost exactly the same stride as the icon, but he's visibly shifted toward his center, and my position is much improved. Need to improve more (especially with that inside rein, as Pooka is letting me know rather firmly), but it's progress.
That not incidentally is his normal working trot. Just imagine what his medium and extended are going to be like. (And yes, I am sitting it. Give or take a bit.)
