Just got in from checking out Comet NEAT, which is kind of a neat name for a comet. It's not really visible with the naked eye, even here where the sky is so clear, but with binoculars it's a nice fuzzy blob to the left of Sirius.

Another love of mine: sky events.

Capria has been enjoying all the attention and the lovely words. She got a ride tonight--ponied ze keed around Garigan's Gulch (which is a neat name for a neighborhood in the West)and enjoyed the warm, clear evening. The saguaro are in bud--will bloom soon--and the prickly pear are blooming and setting fruit. We're in the spring dry season, cactus-flower season, heading into the blast furnace of summer.

I'm rather pleased with the productivity of the day. Wrote actual daytime Pages. Of cuss tomorrow is errand day, so I won't get anything done, but c'est la guerre. One day of decent Pages is worth noting.

And now Iron Chef is doing Scorpion Fish Battle--oy! Poisonous fish. It's like a Croc Hunter outtake: "Crikey! Those fish are poisonous! If anybody gets stung, he'll need the ER!" Paging George Clooney, one would presume.

I am, after all, a Crossover Writer.

Now that I can figure out where to find the comet (thanks for the map!), I just bet it'll be too cloudy for the next several nights.

Don't let the universe know you're looking.
