I beat the digital camera into submission today, and got a bunch of baaaaaby piccies, aided and abetted by [livejournal.com profile] casacorona and her Incredible Feelgood Fingers.

Oh, boy, he says: this feels goooood.

And so does thisssss...

Truckin' along with mom:

OMG teh Cute:

If they're all too busy paying attention to trivialities, it's do-it-yourself time:

Why it's important when photographing equines to have a second human there for distraction:

Possibly one in January but that might be in AZ or NM.

very cute! Out of curiosity, why is mom and he staying with you versus Mom's owner? Are you hoping to get another equally-if-not-cuter Pooklet?

We're breeding the mare back, yes. I'm half-owner of this kid. I'm also the one with the mutant superpower for raising pookas.

I have way too many pictures like the last one. Usually with major nostrillage in the foreground.

I love that first picture of him looking like he feels worshipped.

the nose is so *cute*. It's a shame he'll grey out and we won't see the cute muzzle after a few years. alas!

Oh my gosh, a double dose of major cuteness today! (I also stopped by my mom's and saw her new mitten, who is small enough to fit into a coffee mug, and has a little pink belly, otherwise is all black, just like this cutie above.)

That was a very unfortunate typo, dear.

Oh lord--I try to remember not to do that in others' journals, but long habit will make my fingers type m instead of k.

The Lure of the Lipp...

Lovely. Can he move?

Can he move? He's a Pooklet. He moves like a warmblood dressage horse. Major suspension, elegant gaits. Pooka puts his conformation and movement on all his babies. The only question marks are what the head will be like, and how long will the legs be. And size...I think Oreo is going to be substantially taller than either his sire or dam.

The first picture must represent what [livejournal.com profile] casacorona describes as 'scritchies?'

He IS cute. Who can resist baby horses???

The first two photos were taken while I was scratching him. Baby horses are the itchiest things on the planet. Butt, back, neck, chest, shoulder...they can't resist.

Indeed! The Pooklet here comes running if I even have the thought in my mind about scritching him. Way cute boy power, both these two.
