La Twix did not inherit Pook's cold sensitivity. We got the storm earlier this week, which in three days dumped a year's worth of rain. Twix has way more winter coat than the adults. Both girls had no cold moments, but oh, my poor boy once he got very wet on the 5-6" day--had to towel off and blanket him, and like keed at first thought I was gonna kill him with that towel/blanket. You are so right about the gradient. Makes me nervous about my AZ trip in less than a week; will have to make sure the caretakers do da right thing in case of (more) torrential rain. They're handling the temp gradient fine so far. It's hard to handle 95 one week and cold rain the next. Twix has adored the whole seasonal change, cavorting in the mud and was quite disappointed when the standing water was dozered away this morning.
