The sixth book written, you're nevertheless the first chronologically. You not only describe the creation of Narnia and tell where the White Witch, the lampost and the wardrobe came from, you get to bounce between worlds with the help of Uncle Andrew's weird magic rings.

That was, oddly, the one I liked the least when I was 10. It bored and confused me. Even the disturbing The Silver Chair was more reread.

Me, I'm crewing the Dawn Treader. See ya!

Funny, The Silver Chair is the one that it took me several false starts to get all the way through, and to this day I've only finished it once. (All the other books in the series I've read at the very least a dozen times...)

I always liked The Magician's Nephew. I thought the rings were particularly cool. :)

Puddleglum got me to reread The Silver Chair. The only part of The Magician's Nephew I liked was the image of world traveling by ponds in a wood.

The only book which doesn't take place in Narnia at all, per se, you're the story of a voyage to find the end of the world and hopefully the Seven Lost Lords (remember Rhoop!). You contain some of the most unique people and places and beautiful descriptions of the whole series.

Yep, that's my favorite.

I was the last book, and, disturbing as I found it, I'm not surprised.
