And I did not make my goal, because I could not count 150,000 words of freelance editing (including one project that required a fair amount of rewriting and polishing). I hang my head.

But! I finished one story, wrote all of another, and began a novel, which is most definitely ongoing. I also researched various projects, and worked up two proposals, and wrote several blogs, and farmsat for over a week. And started an Ephiny under saddle.

It was a productive six weeks.

My total came just short of 16,000 words. Or to put it in a prettier way:

15934 / 20000
(79.67%)

All in all, I think I'll take it. Thank you so very much to my lovely and generous sponsors. I did not win the iPad, but you helped me acquit myself honorably, and helped Clarion achieve its fundraising goal. A big round of applause to all of you.

It's been kind of insane. I'm hoping (against hope?) that things quiet down over the next month or so. It would be good to have a break in the relentlessness.
