Since I surely do know about last-ditch efforts to keep the rent paid, and crowdfunding is the Wave of the Future, here's a cause we can believe in: mizkit, aka C. E. Murphy, is doing a commissioned novella for her many fans. Looking for something good to read this summer? Here's something you can say you helped make possible.

Somewhat closer to home, Betas, stand by. After morning chores, I'll post to the filter. I may need to be wrung out and hung up to dry first, it's that hot and humid here, but this is to make sure I, you know, do it.

This is not on topic, and I apologise, but please may I ask you a horse question? I can reciprocate with things Celtic, Viking and Anglo-Saxon, if required (in real life I'm Dr K L Maund, professional early mediaevalist).
