It doesn't quite look like the icon here today, but it's 45F and sleeting, and there's snow on the mountain. Whisky Tango Foxtrot, Over, weathergods?

Horses are in blankets. They were begging for them at lunch, and that was before the hard rain and the sleet.

Two days ago it was in the 80s.

Yeesh.

I have done what I must. I have made homemade cinnamon rolls and curled up with some new mentee mss.

Anyway. The Mentoring Sale is still on--not quite there yet with the hay bill. Interested? Know someone who is interested? Come on down!

I'm still figuring out beta-logistics for online classes. If you'd like to help beta, let me know in comments. Beta testers get a big break on the fee in return for trying out the concept. :)

  • 14:24 @ChuckGeorgeKOLD 45 and sleeting in Vail just N of the Pantano. My horses want to know why you turned the heat off! They want it back! #
  • 14:29 @matociquala In comments, she clearly thinks she's clever. Some suggest it's satire. Not working as such if so. #
  • 14:31 RT @ChuckGeorgeKOLD Snowing on Mt. Lemmon and Mt. Bigelow -- April's fooling with us. #
  • 14:37 @green_knight But it's a heartbreaking work of staggering genius! It doesn't need to be revised! Ever! #
  • 14:38 @ceffyl1 Recipe uses bread machine to mix and knead dough, then fill, roll, and bake. Om nom nom. One pan to bake, one to freeze for later. #
  • 14:47 @matociquala Word. Even if the book were brilliant (it sounds fairly standard not-quite-there-yet), the 'tude would be an ongoing issue. #
  • 14:48 @ceffyl1 I LURVE my bread machine. Is a huge draw at Camp. :) #
  • 14:50 Professional conduct online is important. If you must vent, friendslock it. Or email. #tipsforaspiringwriters #
  • 14:52 @green_knight Sometimes (OK, rarely), it really is just not a fit. Mostly? Yes. Back to the drawing board. #
  • 15:14 The Writing Mentor is having a sale! dancinghorse.livejournal.com/276993.html #
  • 16:50 @Oz_Drummond Safeway carries rhubarb every so often. (I don't like cooked strawberries. I take my rhubarb pie straight.) #
  • 16:52 @Oz_Drummond I can be satire-blind, so wasn't judging. But the language skills are lacking. Along with the professionalism. And that 'tude. #
