All the Judy in One Time and Place

We have finally consolidated the BVC schedule, and Monday is now Story Day as well as Horseblog Day.

I put up something very special for a story, and something very useful to the writer for a blog. Go look--and explore the rest of the site. There's some amazing stuff over there.

In other news, I have been slugged and rolled by an Attack Novel and the writing gods only know when I may come back up for air. Am managing to eat, maintain farm and mentees/daily commitments, and ride horses, but everything else? Fuhgeddaboudit. This has not happened to me in a long time.

And no, it's not anything I thought I'd be writing. It blindsided me with a plot last month and I've been helpless against it ever since.

To celebrate the release of C.F. Bentley’s book Enigma, BookViewCafe.com (BVC) will be holding its fourth twitter fic contest August 11th through 13th. BVC members Phyllis Irene Radford, Jennifer Stevenson, and Sarah Zettel will be judging the contest. First place will win a signed hardcover copy of Enigma. Second place winner will receive a paperback copy of Harmony, the first book in the series.

The theme of the contest is: "Spiders and Space Stations."

Enigma continues the story of Jake and Sissy seeking a peaceful way to bring Harmony back into galactic society.
