We're All Over the Webz Today
Oct. 19th, 2009 08:42 amIt's Story Monday at Book View Cafe: this week and next week we'll be offering Grail stories. I do have a fascination with the Holy Grail. And of course, there's a Horseblog--this week, on Form and Function: Speed.
There's also a new entry in the Diary of a Recovering Perfectionist at Desert Horse. These were lj posts from several months ago, full of neep, with added photos. I would like to be further ahead with the canter now, but we're working on that.
In book news, the middle-grade horse novel from Tor has a title now: House of the Star. Cover is being worked on. Release date is Fall 2010.
And speaking of horse books, A Wind in Cairo is up on lulu in both hardcopy and PDF versions. Amazon link is forthcoming. Meanwhile you can get it there. I am contemplating putting additional e-formats on BVC--we can do that--so if you have any particular requests as to format, let me know.
Yesterday we had a photo shoot for the Frumious Author Photos. Those are being worked on. Meanwhile, here's one of Pooka, who was wondrous about the big reflector screen and having to stand still and take poses. He's a 'way better model than I am.

All praise that doesn't go to His Highness should go to Lori Faith Merritt. You done good, Lori!

Date: 2009-10-19 08:08 pm (UTC)It's the first book of yours I ever read and led me to many of your other books--to my great fortune and pleasure. I have re-read it many times and my original copy is a bit "overloved." :) So I might pick up an electronic copy and I was thinking of picking up a copy to give to a friend, possibly--but this sounds like I wouldn't be able to pick it up in my local bookstore, just through order?
I thought the publishers were reprinting AWiC? And Lulu is a direct print site? Or is AWiC not being reprinted and distributed by a big publisher?
P.S.: AWESOME Pooka pic!
