Don't suppose you can recommend a good oven repair person who might be looking for more work, then? :-) Ours died (or the computer temperature sensor died) a couple weeks ago, haven't gotten around to finding someone to look at it yet ...

I have American Home Shield. They sent a local guy from Vail--Care Technical, 762-9743. We've used ARS before, too; that's in Tucson. Sears allegedly repairs appliances, as well.

American Home Shield can be a pain and their co-pay has nearly doubled in the past two years, but they're still the way to go for a houseful of older appliances. I got this year's whole thing back when they replaced the dishwasher. Have got new coolers and a new hot-water heater from them, a new garbage disposal, a new toilet.... Also they do plumbing and ductwork. For about $40 a month, believe me it's worth it.
