More Elphin Experimentation

Messing with the camera again. I didn't much like what I got with the horses. They're always either in your face or buried in their hay, unless you can get someone to chase them or interact with them for you. There wasn't anyone today. I was trying to get conformation photos of Oreo for the Arab registry so he can get his papers reissued, but forget that. He needs to be stood up and posed, and that wasn't happening.

But the kittens were cooperative. And Pooka was, to an extent.

Trouble was very expressive this afternoon.










Minnow wanted to play.










Pooka was chewing his lunch, which did interesting things to his cheek muscles.

you think I end up with photos like in the icon by pure example. I've gotten REALLY good at explaining that the camera is NOT crunchies, actually. And that up the nose shots are funny once, but get old quickly :).

Pook has the smoothest musculature of any horse I know.

I remember when Twix was born thinking how would she ever grow into those EARS? Now they're as short and cute as Dad's.

I can get S in on Tuesday or Friday. Usually she comes every other Tuesday, but this month we're doing Friday. She'll be here this Friday and probably again on the 23rd.
