dancinghorseI'm posting more than usual because I finished The Terribly Late And Much Lamented Novel last night and now I'm running continuity on it, and I need a lot of breaks. I don't even feel happy I finished it yet. It's only three and a half years late, you see. That takes a while to cycle through the system.
During the breaks, I've put together a mailing for the clinic, printed out flyers, got a fly mask on Oreo (now he looks like a bug, just like everybody else), and I forget what-all else. I need to wake up enough to go out and ride Pandora before the sun goes down. Also take da Pook for walkies. And hug ze keed again. Ran a big deficit of those over the past 7 and a half months.
I didn't miss him while he was gone. Really. Or not much. But hey, he's been a fixture here for a long time. He left a big hole when he went off to live with Teacher.
Also while I usually keep this a politics-free zone, it was good to wake up this morning under a two-party system. It's been a while since that was the case. (Yes, I voted. I'm not allowed to bitch about the guvmint unless I vote. So.)
I'd better go ride Pandora before she comes in and gets me. I don't think the floor could take it.
