Is there Silver at the end of the Moonbow?
Sep. 1st, 2006 11:21 pmPutting the horses to bed late at night has its perks. Shooting stars, hunting bats, the Milky Way--I never know what the night will bring. When the moon is full, the horses glow. Then you can see what they look like on the Other Side.
Tonight, it was a moonbow. I never knew there could be such a thing. The western sky is clear, with the moon hanging low. The eastern sky is full of thunder. And there is a faint, pale, perfect arc. No color; the quarter moon is too dim. But that makes it even more wonderful.
