Kaz in Action
Quiet today. Very very tired. Not very functional. But I did some yard work plus the usual horsework, and finished the last bits of tidying in the house. The empty crate is still there. I'll clean it thoroughly next week, and move Spot into it; it's bigger and she can stretch out in it.

I miss him. But it was time for him to go. There was so little of him left.

Dogs are family, and it's never easy to let them go, even when they've had such a long and fulfilled life.

At one point in my life, she was someone I came home to, who was glad to see me. Then she got along with Julia, so I decided I could, too. Turned out to be right.
Reggie died young, of one of those big-dog cancers, about 2 years ago. I still miss her.
