BTW, speaking of writing, do you mind if I ask a couple questions about Queen of the Amazons?

Is it directly connected to the White Mare's Daughter sequence, or "merely" share many of the same cultural templates? I saw nothing to either confirm or contradict a direct link (though admittedly I haven't read Lady of Horses).

I liked it muchly, btw, tho' I found the first couple scenes confusing and choppy.

Sorta-kinda-more-or-less distantly connected. Not directly.

Thanks--glad you liked it. It seems to pull readers through the opening, at least.

So less directly connected than, say, The Shepherd Kings.

The most direct connection is Lord of the Two Lands.

Shepherd Kings was written as part of the White Mare contract, because that was what I wanted to do just then. Later on I wrote Daughter of Lir to top off the trilogy. They're all interrelated.
